All you really need to know is that I spend every day doing what I love more than anything in the world; riding horses.
I’m professional dressage rider based in Windsor. Here, I train a couple of my own horses and some horses which have been put in training with me by some wonderful people who have trusted me with the education and career of their horse.
I hold monthly dressage clinics at home in West Sussex, Great Trippetts Polo Club to be more precise. New students and spectators are all welcome, send me an email for the details of upcoming clinics.
My equestrian education...
Horses have always played a huge role in my life. Having grown up on my father’s polo farm in West Sussex, I was introduced to the saddle at the age of four, but it wasn't until the age of 17 that I truly discovered my passion for dressage. Since then I have dedicated my time to pursuing a career as a professional dressage rider.
Whilst still stabled in West Sussex in 2010, my first taste of training at a world class yard came in the form of a month’s training with Hasse Hoffmann in Denmark. Not content with a single month under the watchful eye of this dressage master, Hasse and his wife Grethe kept me on as a working student for the next two years. From Denmark, I moved to Berlin in 2013 to work at Guestüt Bonhomme where I learned to break in and ride young horses. I also learned how to bounce pretty quickly too! Then, in 2014, I was offered a position as a working student for Klaus Balkenhol in Münster, where I learned an enormous amount training with the Balkenhol family every day, before deciding to move back the UK in 2015.
I aim to get as far as I possibly can in this wonderful sport, wherever it may take me. I'm always looking for new and exciting opportunities from different people, places and fields. Please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Since I have been pursuing my dressage career for the past 10 years, overseas and at home in England, I have been incredibly fortunate to be able to train with some of the world's best trainers. I have spent time working and training under Hasses Hoffamann, Klaus Balkenhol and Kyra Kyrklund to name a few. I am currently training my own horse under the watchful eyes of world class judge Peter Storr and world champion Charlotte Dujardin.
With the wealth of knowledge these dressage masters possess, I have tried my hardest to learn as much from them as possible.
I enjoy teaching new combinations and watching them grow together as a team. I'm available for lessons at Kilbees Farm in Windsor where I am currently based, or at your own yard. I am now holding regular dressage clinics at my home in West Sussex. For dates, see my blog or send me an email through the contact page.
Training your horse
Training horses is my absolute passion. Teaching horses of all ages, sizes and abilities to do 'dressage' is what drives me. Weather you need me to ride your horse for a short period of time or if you want me to train and compete your horse for the foreseeable future, I am always looking for new horses and exciting opportunities.
